FIGHT AGAINST BOKO HARAM: MORE THAN 10 MILLION CFA FRANCS FOR THE WAR EFFORT OF TRADITIONAL LEADERS.

This amount was presented to Governor Midjiyawa Bakari last weekend in Maroua.

The National Council of Traditional Leaders of 1st and 2nd degrees of the Far North has contributed about 10,150,000 CFA francs to come to help our forces of defense and security.

According the chairman of the National Council of Traditional Leaders, Alim Hayatou this gesture is in addition to many other such donors have already made.

"Traditional leaders of the Far North region have effectively contributed to the fight against Boko Haram, because it is they who select the first level members of vigilance committees which have always provided us with good information to combat Boko Haram "said the governor Midjiyawa Bakari.

This amount has been remitted to the Payer-Treasurer (TPG) of the Far North Region to be sent to the General Treasury in Yaounde.

The ceremony was attended by the President of the National Council of Traditional Leaders of Cameroon, His Majesty Alim Hayatou, also State Secretary of the Ministry of Public Health, Cavaye Yeguie Djibril and Ayang Luc.
